I chose this question based on my personal love for literature. I wanted to explore how that could enhance my teaching skills. I think doing this project and completing this question will make me a better educator. From doing this, I have learned how to communicate with students better. I am pleased that I chose this question as it interested me personally. Genius Hour is a great project for students and I hope to implement it in my classroom one day. I think it is important for students to have time to explore their passions. I also like the accessibility of an assignment so broad. Genius hour could be used in any subject, as it is a tool designed to enhance students lives in every way, and encourage personal growth above all else.
