This slideshow is an outline of my Genius Hour Project! As it states, my Genius Hour question is: How do I re-encourage children to have a passion for libraries, and in turn, how can I reignite a positive attitude towards books, literature and reading ? And in it I outline exactly how I plan to answer this question. I am very excited to start this Genius Hour Project!
From completing this assignment I learned how to use Google Slides. I really enjoyed the website and thought it was extremely user-friendly. It was accessible and easy to pick up on. I like the way you can share the slides easily, and if wanted multiple people can edit the slides. I would enjoy using google slides to create a slideshow for my class, and could also see the students using it to complete assignments. I think as an educator, skills like how to use this program are essential in reaching our students. I hope to continue using Google Slides as a teaching tool. This tool could be used in any subject, as students can create a summary or slideshow on literally any topic in the world and create and design a presentation using google slides.
